Rest assured, all sunglasses purchased from Florentine Eyewears are covered by a genuine manufacturer warranty against faulty workmanship. The specific warranty period may vary depending on the brand but is typically 1 or 2 years.

If you believe you have a warrantable claim due to faulty workmanship or a defective product (excluding accidental damage), please follow these steps:

  • Please return the sunglasses to the store where you made the purchase, along with the original receipt.
  • We will forward the glasses to the manufacturer for assessment.
  • The decision for warranty repair, replacement, or refund rests solely at the discretion of the manufacturer.
  • Kindly allow a minimum of 10 business days for a response from the manufacturer.

In addition to any manufacturer warranty, it's essential to know that all purchases made from Florentine Eyewears come with warranties that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. These consumer rights ensure that you are protected and entitled to remedies if the product does not meet the consumer guarantee standards.

Change of Mind AND EXCHANGE

We want you to have the best shopping experience possible, and that's why we offer a 7-day return policy for change of mind. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have the option to return it to us within 7 days from the date of purchase for either an exchange or a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund or exchange, the sunglasses must meet the following criteria

  • They must be in brand new and unused condition. We will only accept returns or exchanges if the items are received in brand-new condition. Any deviation from this may result in the rejection of the return or exchange.
  • The items should be in their original packaging with all seals unbroken, original tags attached and all parts and accessories must be included.
  • The sunglasses must be free of damage.
  • A valid purchase receipt is required for all returns.
  • If the items are not received by us in brand-new condition, we will not accept the return or exchange
  • No refunds will be given for purchases of gift cards. Either an exchange or store credit will be offered.

Please note the following conditions for the return process

  • We will refund the full amount, or exchange for a different pair of sunglasses to the same or lesser value at your request. Please note that non-refundable fees (e.g., Afterpay, Credit Card) will be deducted from the refund amount. Additionally, a flat restocking fee of $10 will be applied to all items returned for a refund.
  • Items that are damaged, obviously used, or cannot be resold as brand-new items will not qualify for a full refund or exchange.
  • If you have any concerns or uncertainties regarding the return process, please contact us via our store landline.

The item is faulty

At our store, we want you to have peace of mind when making a purchase, and your rights as a consumer under Australian Consumer Law are fully protected and cannot be excluded.

The manufacturer's warranty terms and requirements may vary, and based on their policies, we will either repair or replace the faulty item for you. If stocks are exhausted, we will issue a refund.

Product Care Guidelines

Here are some essential care instructions to keep your sunglasses in excellent condition and uphold the warranty coverage:

  • Wash dust and grit off your lenses using cold running water or a lens cleaner.
  • Gently dry your lenses with a "microfibre" cloth, avoiding the use of tissues for cleaning.
  • Avoid allowing salt water to dry on your sunglasses, as it may cause corrosion to metal parts and could scratch the lenses if wiped with a dry cloth.
  • Prevent distortion and damage by not leaving your sunglasses on the dashboard or console of your car, especially in excessive heat.
  • Protect the hinges and screws by removing your sunglasses from your face with both hands.
  • Avoid stretching the sunglasses or damaging the temples/hinges by not wearing them on your head.
  • Always store your sunglasses in their case when not in use for extra protection.
  • Regularly tighten the screws on your sunglasses, as lost screws are not covered under warranty.
